I've been a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach for over a decade, but before that, my life looked very much like yours. 


From 2000 to 2011, I had 9-5 office jobs in and around Washington, D.C. working in government and politics. Unlike a lot of trainers/coaches, I haven't been fit, lean, and strong my whole life, and I know what it's like to sit in meetings all day, spend hours commuting, and come home from work too exhausted to hit the gym. 

I DREADED getting dressed in the mornings because I never knew if my clothes would fit. Some days, I took naps in the parking garage because I didn't have the energy to make it through the work day. I was always "on a diet." But they never worked.

That all changed when I I took my first BODYPUMP class. Something finally clicked! I went from forcing myself to do 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer to being in group fitness classes 6-7 days a week.

My passion for fitness grew and - long story short- led to a complete career change. I hung up my black suits and heels for Lululemon leggings and trainers - and never looked back!

  • "I am running a half-marathon/marathon/triathlon. Can I do FLLS?"
    Because fat loss is a different goal than endurance, we would strongly advise completing all training for endurance events before enrolling in FAT LOSS LIFESTYLE SCHOOL. We would love to work with you when your race is over!
  • "What if I’m traveling during part of the program?"
    Fat loss happens anywhere, and you can do this lifestyle everywhere! We work with clients all over the world, so location isn't an obstacle. Life will always be busy. If you keep waiting to “be ready” and “have more time” to change your lifestyle, it will never come. Travel is part of life. In FLLS, you can learn to do this lifestyle while traveling. The alternative? You will forever be “on the wagon” when you’re at home, and “off the wagon” when you’re not. Travel is not an obstacle to success! You can do this!
  • What kind of food will I be eating during FLLS? I don't want to cook separate meals from my family.
    In FLLS, you'll learn how to eat REAL FOOD for fat loss. No meal replacements, supplements, or special "diet food" required. Everything you need to eat for fat loss can be found in a regular grocery store anywhere in the world: lean proteins like turkey, chicken, fish, eggs, dairy, etc. Fruits and vegetables. High-fiber starches like beans, quinoa, sweet potatoes, brown rice. Healthy fats like avocado, olive oil, nuts and seeds. We're not cutting anything out and you'll discover the right amount of protein, fat, and carbs *for you* for fat loss. Entire families get healthier during this program because the food just tastes good! It's very common for our clients' spouses and kiddos to start asking, "Can I have some of that?" and jump into this lifestyle with them:)
  • Is this macro tracking or calorie counting?
    NOPE. With our FLLS MEAL TEMPLATE and FOOD LIST, you'll be able to build fat loss-friendly meals ANYWHERE without logging food in an app, counting calories, points or carbs, or tracking macros. Knowing how to accurately track your food intake is an important skill to develop, but we believe it's best used for temporary periods of time (i.e. when troubleshooting) - not as a daily lifestyle.
  • "Can I do this program if I’m Vegan or Vegetarian?"
    This program is not currently suitable for those following a vegan diet. If you are vegetarian but can eat eggs and dairy and use protein powder, then we can try to work with you. Please email us at and we’ll make recommendations on a case by case basis.
  • "What if I have food allergies?"
    We can work around most food allergies in FLLS. There are no lists of foods you are required to eat. FLLS Nutrition involves eating a high-protein, high-fiber, high-water-content diet, but if a food does not work for you - do not eat it. We provide a list of foods broken down by macronutrient. You pick the foods the from the FLLS Food List that you like, that do not contain allergens. Simple as that! If you have a severely limited diet, please email us at and we can make a recommendation based on your situation.
  • "What is the Refund Policy?"
    We offer a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE: Success in this program requires you to play the long game. We are not interested in working with you UNLESS and UNTIL you are done "doing diets" and ready to commit to doing the work and changing your habits.
